Unfair dismissal occurs when a termination is harsh, unjust, or unreasonable. You generally have 21 days to lodge a claim with Fair Work Commission. We can assess your circumstances quickly.
Both. We advise employers on compliance, contracts, and risk management, and represent employees in claims for unfair dismissal, adverse action, and workplace disputes.
Full-time employees accrue 10 days of paid personal/carer's leave per year. Part-time employees accrue a pro-rata amount. Casual employees are not entitled to paid personal leave.
Employees now have a right to refuse contact from their employer outside working hours, unless the refusal is unreasonable in the circumstances. Employers need to review their after-hours communication practices.
